10,000 BC (x3)

Plot outline:
A prehistoric epic that follows a young mammoth hunter's journey through uncharted territory to secure the future of his tribe.

Summary:
Poster 1 As with any previous Roland Emmerich film the key words are scale and setpiece, and this was my primary goal - to evoke scale and give the promos an epic grandiose quality. By carving the title into the mountainside the intention is to give the impression of something standing the test of time. All you need to know is that it was from the director of the two previous films which says it all. This idea could be taken further where the title has been carved into any landscape.

Poster 2 Here the tagline and subtle imagery give more of a hint of what the film is about.

Poster 3 This gives the film a more human/romantic quality with a softer, more elegant font suggesting quality not just bombast.
