The Invasion (x3)

Plot Outline:
A mysterious epidemic is sweeping the world, but it takes one Washington DC psychiatrist to discover that the disease is extraterrestrial in origin. When her son becomes infected we find that he could be the key to the only way to stop it. She and a colleague must work together to find a cure, before the entire world is lost.

Summary:
This is essentially a remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers. I've taken the main themes - that of identity and disease/infection, free will and ultimately, trust - and divided them up into three posters. The colours feel 'alien' and the other constant (apart from font and layout) is the use of the vertical stripes. These form part of a bar code - an obvious reference to identity.

Poster 1 alludes to cloning and the idea of the body becoming an unwilling host.
Poster 2 is all about putting the epidemic into perspective and frightening people with facts. This also plays the trust card, which people can relate to - the enemy within - a similar theme to The Thing, and the blood cells on the poster recall this.
Poster 3 is about the stars. Daniel Craig is extremely high profile now so his face on the poster is important. It also has a good claustrophobic feel to it.
Promotion This is not a poster. In keeping with the subject matter, this is an idea of how to promote the film - on sandwich boards.
