Plot Outline:
Two straight, single Philadelphia fire-fighters pretend to be a gay couple in order to receive domestic partner benefits.

Summary:
This plays heavily on previous work done by the director and writer as I felt it particularly important here. This is a tough sell as Adam Sandler does not have such an obvious following in the UK. However by announcing that it’s from the writer of an Oscar winning film means it could play to another crowd entirely. The Dougie Houser reference shows it’s certainly not a poster taking it’s too seriously either - for those in the know. Given the plot outline, the image works as a great double entendre. The decision to flip the poster is to give the other much less well know actor some exposure and to use the second tagline.
